ANZEG Stitch in Time 2024 Dunedin

Dunedin

The Association of New Zealand Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. Biennial Conference is being held from the 12th - 18th July 2024 in the lovely historic town of Dunedin, Otago and is being hosted by the Otago Embroiderers' Guild .

Even though New Zealander’s are  still experiencing difficult times still created by the ongoing  COVID-19 reoccurrences and recent weather events, the Conference Organising Committee have been working hard to create a safe, fun filled event that will entice you all to register.

The event will be kicked off with Extensions Day and the Opening of the National Exhibition & Prize Giving on Friday 12th July 2024.  This will be followed by the ANZEG Association Day and BGM on Saturday & Sunday, with workshops commencing on Monday 15th July 2024.  During the week there are more speakers and events to go to, to complete your experience.

It is a pleasure to be able to showcase 18 New Zealand nurtured tutors  and 3 international tutors who are teaching 36 fabulous workshops. There is something for everyone and we are grateful for the willingness of these tutors to share their knowledge and assist you to perfect your technique.

So we welcome you to Otago, to reunite with fellow stitchers from all over the country, laugh, stitch and enjoy this amazing event.

2023 Mystery Stitchery Fundraiser

The Association of New Zealand Embroiderers’ Guild Inc. is launching their 2nd fundraising Mystery Stitchery on the 1st November 2022.  Registrations will open on that date with the first information release on the 1st February 2023 which will include an introduction and tacking grid.

We are confident, following our very successful 1st Mystery Stitchery fundraiser in 2021, that those who participate in this will one will get as much enjoyment and fun out of this one as they did from the last.  It is an exciting pattern combining tradition and history to produce a beautiful project.

Thank you for participating in this fundraiser, it sure beats selling raffle tickets and we look forward to seeing some amazing pieces.
